The chamber has opened a lot of doors for me. It is a great way to get in front of larger corporations. During COVID, they were even kind enough to include me in a video about supporting Lincoln. They also provided great training for all the ambassadors, and networking at ribbon-cuttings has turned into revenue. Shannon has consistently provided referrals and networking opportunities.

The first check Five Nines ever wrote after we started as a business in 2006 was to become a member of the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. There is no other single payment we have ever made which has produced such a long term and sustainable return on our investment. Being a member of the Lincoln Chamber has provided many opportunities for us as a business and also bolstered our local reputation. It is the most impactful first step we could have taken as an organization and we are forever grateful to the Chamber for the benefits we have received.

I always look forward to Chamber events, not only because they are well-coordinated, timely and relevant, but because of the amazing people who attend them. When we were entertaining the idea of moving to Lincoln for my job, we used the chamber website quite a bit. Something that really struck me was the video about Lincoln, the city being a choice, the choice for us, for so many wonderful reasons. That video helped us see a place we felt we would fit in. The overwhelming feelings about hard work, kindness, the arts and the outdoors, a great place to raise a family and have fun – these all ring true two years later, and I still feel glad that we chose Lincoln.
